Natalie J. Goertz | RN, BScN, CIC
Chief Executive Officer
Natalie Goertz holds a BScN (UWO, London, Ontario) and is a registered nurse. She is currently completing a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology. Natalie is certified through the Certification Board of Infection Control and has experience in all levels of health care including a large tertiary health care centre, a large community hospital as well as public health. She has managed an Infection Prevention and Control department in acute care. Natalie has served as co-chair of the IPAC-Canada Surveillance and Epidemiology Interest Group and as President for the IPAC-Canada Southwestern Ontario Chapter. She has extensive knowledge of program development and evaluation for Infection Control Programs, Environmental Services, and Reprocessing Departments and has successfully led these groups through the Accreditation process. Natalie has experience in conducting, participating, and evaluating research on infection control practices and has presented research findings at national and international conferences including IPAC-Canada, APIC, and SHEA.
Stefan David | BSC ENG, P.ENG.
Director Of Strategic Partnerships
Stefan David graduated from Guelph University with a degree in Systems and Computing Engineering. He is a professional engineer with experience in mechanical and electrical designations. Stefan has a keen interest in business development and has spent 8 years’ experience managing Toshiba’s Canadian operations. He is well versed in all project phases, including green field development, contract negotiations and project delivery. Stefan has completed the CSA Designing for the Future Z8000 – Canadian Health Care Facilities and Effective Implementation and Practical Application of Infection Control During Construction, Renovation and Maintenance courses. He is a key member of IPAC Consulting’s leadership team through strategic business development and guiding future direction.
Youhanna Salib | BSc, CIC
Director of Consulting Services
Youhanna, is a microbiologist who is Certified in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology (CBIC). With a post-graduate certification in infection control from the University of British Columbia and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt holder, Youhanna is a recognized expert. He leads the Consultant Team at IPAC Consulting, bringing extensive experience across healthcare sectors, including acute care, long-term care, and surgical centers.
Specializing in integrating IPAC principles into construction, renovation, and design (CRMD) projects—particularly for long-term care facilities—Youhanna collaborates with architects, engineers, and contractors to minimize infection risks and ensure regulatory compliance. His expertise includes evaluating site conditions, mitigating cross-contamination risks, and aligning design features with infection control guidelines.
Through his leadership, Youhanna helps create safe and compliant healthcare environments that prioritize patient safety and operational efficiency.
Stephanie Cini

Stephanie brings over a decade of management experience and three years of specialized consulting expertise in construction and film to her leadership role at IPAC Consulting. Her extensive background allows her to effectively navigate challenges and deliver tailored solutions.

Gurpreet Singh | RN, LTC CIP

I am an Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Consultant with a multidisciplinary background in nursing, psychology, and the biological sciences. I combine clinical knowledge with a strong understanding of human behaviour and disease processes to support healthcare organizations in implementing practical, evidence-based infection prevention strategies. My passion for improving patient safety and healthcare quality has led me to focus on policy development, antimicrobial stewardship, and quality improvement initiatives across healthcare settings.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) while also holding a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with a double major in Psychology and Biology. My diverse educational background provides a unique perspective on infection prevention, allowing me to bridge clinical practice, scientific research, and organizational change. At IPAC Consulting, I collaborate with healthcare teams to develop policies, deliver education, and implement sustainable programs that promote best practices and improve resident and patient outcomes.
Irda Zahra
Junior Consultant
Irda joined IPAC Consulting after completing her Master of Public Health at Queen’s University. Her path to infection prevention began with a passion for microbiology during her undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, where she became fascinated by the relationship between microorganisms and human health. Recognizing the opportunity to apply that scientific knowledge to preventing disease and improving healthcare quality, she pursued a Master of Public Health with a focus on infection prevention and control.
Before joining the team, Irda completed a practicum with Public Health Ontario’s Outbreak Response and Support Team, where she reviewed infection prevention and control lapses from across Ontario to identify trends, contributing factors, and opportunities for improvement. Today, she works with a wide range of healthcare organizations, helping clients strengthen their programs through audits, education, policy development, and practical recommendations that fit the realities of day-to-day practice.
Irda is passionate about continuous learning and believes the best improvements come from collaboration, curiosity, and making complex guidance practical and easy to apply.
